Our festive December litter pick went well despite the rain, we had over 20 volunteers including a number of children and we all looked very festive in our Christmas jumpers and hats!
Councillor Ruth Hopkinson and Helen Belcher, whose working to be the Lib Dem MP for Chippenham, came along to help. We managed to litter pick parts of Bradford Road, Park Lane, Valley Road, Furzehill, Station Road, around the Campus and Pickwick Roads, Meriton and Springfield Recsto name but a few. As well as the normal rubbish we discovered an abandoned bike, 2 scooters and 2 traffic cones!
The pick was finished off with festive treats including mince pies and chocolate cupcakes!
