Getting involved

Monthly picks – Clean Up Corsham
If you, like us, are fed up with the litter that lines our streets and would like to team up with like-minded people to do something about it then it’s easy, take part in our organised monthly litter picks.

  • We meet at 10am at the Springfield Campus car park on the 4th Saturday of the month
  • We provide all necessary equipment including gloves (though it would be helpful if you could bring your own), litter picking tools, bags and high visibility jackets
  • We meet back at the Campus at 12 noon, the Council will dispose of the rubbish collected
  • We have a well earned coffee and cake!

Individuals – speaking to people recently about litter it turns out that there are quite a few litter heroes who regularly go out and about litter picking on their own or with a relative or friend.  If there are just a few of you and you would like to do this, we can lend you a few litter pickers, bags and hi-visibility jackets for a few hours. Why not combine this with a walk and get some exercise at the same time! For further details, contact Jane Roberton (Tel: 07929 996729).
Groups – if you belong to a club or other organisation and would like to organise a litter pick of your own, please contact Jane Roberton (Tel: 07929 996729) to borrow equipment. To arrange for the resulting rubbish to be disposed of, please email wiltshirehelpdesk@idverde.co.uk. Note, that at least 2 weeks’ notice is required so that the rubbish pickup can be scheduled with the refuse collectors.
