Our October litter pick was really very well attended, 30 keen litter pickers turned up including 6 children. It was great to see so many youngsters.
As we had so many volunteers, we were able to send groups out to most areas of Corsham, and we collected 25 bags of rubbish as well as 6 smaller bags of recycling. Among the finds were a saucepan, tyre, remains of a car accident (light bulbs, glass, bumper…) as well as the usual discarded fast food wrappers, sweet wrappers, plastic bottles and tin cans and of course, the dreaded cigarette butts!
