Corsham’s first Eco Fair was held on Saturday 2 April 2022, and was a collaboration between Corsham Climate Action and Corsham Town Council. It featured a range of stalls from environmentally friendly and sustainable businesses, organisations and community groups in Corsham. The focus of the fair was on showing Corsham residents just how easy it is to make small sustainable lifestyle changes! It was a great success and as a result the Eco Fair will now become an annual event.
Our second Eco Fair on Saturday 22nd April 2023 (Earth Day) was even bigger and better!
There was vegetarian and vegan food from Woody’s The Deli at Corsham, No.3 The Deli and Pepperpot Events, gorgeous eco-friendly products from local companies such as Nature Nurture Kids, Kind Melts and BirdandbatArt, and really useful information on becoming more sustainable from providers such as Wessex Water and charities like Wiltshire Wildlife Trust, as well as from Corsham Climate Action.
Green Ginger Health Food Shop was demonstrating ways to reduce single use plastic use with their fantastic refill service, and Spindles Bikes showed you the best way to travel more sustainably.
Fairtrade Corsham was there to showcase an amazing range of Fairtrade products and to display their Plastic Free Communities Pledge, to eliminate at least 3 single use plastic items.
